This tiny wearable will give you smartphone notifications, nothing more, nothing less
Ditto, a wearable that buzzes when you get smartphone alerts, is shipping on 10 August, a year after its crowdfunding success.
Simple Matters, the company behind Ditto, managed to reach its $100,000 target on Kickstarter last year, and since then backers have waited patiently for their device. We covered Ditto on our Crowdfund this page at the time, and have been keeping our eye on its developments since.

Ditto is a small device that connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and can give you notifications, via vibrations, of your choice. Due to its small, lightweight, waterproof design, the Ditto can go pretty much anywhere you want. There’s no display, no LEDs, no buttons and not battery charging port, just a diddy little Ditto.
Using the iOS or Android smartphone app, you can set which notifications you want to receive and these can be set to personalised buzzes for different contacts.
It’s a simple wearable that can give you the notifications you need without any of the other spam that comes to your phone. It can also provide a silent alarm or a warning if you leave your phone behind and the connection is lost.
If it’s reliable Ditto will be a neat device. It’s on the opposite end of the spectrum to wearables offering GPS, fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, call and text functionality. For people that don’t want all those other features, and just want a inconspicuous, waterproof notifier, Ditto should be great.
The wearable can be ordered from the Simple Matters website and will be shipping on 10 August with a price tag of $39.95. It comes in white, black or clear models.
