New Fit 3 is a strong budget contender
Huawei has launched two new smartwatches – and given a massive overhaul to its budget-friendly smartwatch line.
The Huawei Watch Fit 3 is a reimagining of the company’s excellent budget fitness watch, which goes for a more traditional (and familiar) look. Yes, it looks like an Apple Watch, but Wareable understands that consumer feedback on the rectangular Fit 2 has led to the change – and it’s certainly more female-friendly.

The Fit 3 packs an aluminum 43mm case, with a dainty 18mm strap, which comes in a range of silicon and nylon versions.
Inside is GPS, 5ATM water resistance (good for the pool and shower) and tons of sports tracking modes.
You don’t get the big health features of the Watch 4, but sleep tracking and stress monitoring is on board.
In terms of fitness, you get the full suite of Huawei running metrics, including Running Ability Index, route uploading, VO2 Max and Strava syncing.
Battery life comes in at around 5-7 days with very heavy use, and it’s a big head-turner at just £139/€159.
Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition

The Watch 4 Pro Space Edition is a totally different beast, and is a special update to the standard Watch 4.
In celebration of China’s moon mission launch, Huawei has updated the materials to use aerospace alloys, and designed a new watch face. Other than that, it’s the same story as the Watch 4 Pro, but with Huawei’s top TruSeen 5.5+ algorithms, and advanced health features.
It costs significantly more at £549/€649.
